I have a Insurance Policy with AIG Insurances. My broker is Standard Bank Insurance Brokers the person I liase with is Liza Gabela since 3 June 2003.
I had three heart operations done which my Brokers told me I'm cover for the operation. Had an open heart Surgery to replace my Valve as it stucked and blocked the blood could not go through my valve. They rejected my claim. My benefit list states. Coronary Artery Bypass - there Laymen's description of surgeries read Open-heart surgery which I had to graft a vessel in order to bypass a damage vessel - I had the Aortic valve replace. Know AIG Rejected my claim. I then had a Pacemaker inserted and they refuse to Pay me out for that as well. I don't know if I fall in this category Coronary Angiogram with stent - My Pacemaker was done with the angiogram when they replaced it. What can I do. I am a pensioner.
