I cannot believe that my primary insurer would not accommodate me when I am in dire straits. I have had an accident and calculated that it would take a few days for the minor damage to my vehicle. I was therefore able to make arrangements to get around for now. I have now been informed that my vehicle will only be ready in approximately 3 weeks which leaves me totally stranded. I absolutely understand that I have only added the car hire option about a week ago but did not anticipate that I would need it now. Much to my chagrin my request that they try and accomodate me was met with a very unfriendly NO! regardless of asking that the matter be referred to someone in higher authority. Really very disappointed in Auto and General
