In 2013 my husband found out that he has a blue bean standard bank cr card account which was opened in his name in 2006.we found out from absa because we wanted to apply for a loan. he then reported the matter to the police which a afidavit was writen out and has been under investigation... so a few days ago my husband starts getting strange calls from 0437067367 which he always missed. last night after 5pm the number calls again and theres a lady on the line stating my husband owes standard bank money and he has been handed over to DMC? he told the lady what happened and that the account was fraudulantly opened because it was not under his knowledge that he had such an account... this lady was very rude and ubrupt!!!..2 hours later she calls again and when he answers she drops the call??? i mean seriously, this is getting to us where we want to know what in the world is happening!!! 1stly he never opened an account with standard bank, 2ndly from the space of 2006 to 2013 why is he only getting calls now after so many years, 3rdly why the heck is she calling after hours? this has to be sorted out and stoped immediatly!!!
