I am really OUTRAGED at the personnel at your FNB branch in Church Street, Pretoria. I wanted to make a withdrawal of a large amount that supersedes my ATM limit and I did not have my Gold Cheque Card with I left it & only had my GREEN ID book. 1st I went to the teller which then told me that they cannot give me money if I have my ID book alone WITHOUT THE CARD & then she referred me to a consultant. When I got to the consultant she told me that they do not have money on their side and that the teller should be the one to process this request. When I approached the lady that welcomes people in the bank and directs them to the right place told her my problem and that it is an URGENT matter she said they cannot help me. I have my ID BOOK, that should be proof enough THAT I AM A BANKER WITH YOU and if not then SURELY FNB should have OTHER Authentication procedures to be followed in order to GIVE ME access to MY MONEY. This was an emergency and I needed the money. I am not going back to that branch again and this is not the FIRST TIME that FNB has stopped me from accessing my DUE TO ME HAVING MY ID BOOK ONLY??!! I AM QUITE DISSAPOINTED AT THIS RIDICULOUS SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED
