I received money from Tanzania and Zambia and realised that in error I supplied the incorrect banking details, On the same day the money was sent I went to the bank and When I went into the branch I spoke to Calvin Mdulatsi and he phoned the FOREX head quarters to inform them of the mistake and asked if they could hold the money and correct it with the Recipient, however Forex said that the money had to be returned then resent and then after I was reassured that the money would not be paid out and would be returned to Zambia and Zanzibar. The LARGE amount was returned to Zambia but the smaller amount was paid out and not sent back to Zanzibar! How this is I am uncertain despite the fact that the banking details were incorrectly given on my end the sender clearly stated MY NAME as the recipient, would it not be common practice to check this before paying out money? How do you pay an account number that does not match the name and why was one amount sent back and the other paid out? Despite the fact that I sent FOREX the proof of payments that I have attached to this email and yet they paid out the money. 6 Months later.
I have now been informed that my money will not be paid.
