I'm sending this e-mail as a notification of the type of service that I received from one of your branches.
Can I please ask that you look at all the facts and understanding regarding these issues, as I will be taking it all up with the FAIS ombudsman. My new Insurer advised me that my broker should have provided me with a complaints process as well which was never offered.
During the year, we relocated to new residential addresses, and updated our contact and postal details. The following month, I received a huge premium debited from my bank account. I requested further information regarding the understanding of the collection of this high premium which I did not make provision for.
After a second follow up, I still did not receive any clarification. The only next step I could follow was to request a cancellation on my policy. Even on this I never received a call, or email of acknowledgement. I was never asked for the specific cancellation date either. After several attempt
