BILLING A NON CLIENT & COMPLICATING THE REFUNDING

2 MONTHS ago I inquired with insurance quotes with Prime Meridian & I advised them I will come back to them as I need to advise my current insurance that I was moving for a better premium. My current insurer told me I was due for a review and offered me a better deal to stay with them. I then called Prime Meridian back and advised them that I will not be taking insurance with them. I received a package by mail which said I needed to confirm all is correct etc otherwise the policy will be activated. I called them and a advised them that firstly, the mail came after 30 days but I wanted to stop any pending activations under my name. Assuming that was cancelled, last week I received a message warning me that I will be debited so I called Prime Meridian to firstly acknowledge my initial cancellation and secondly, cancel this pending debit off my account. I spoke to Thulani who confirmed that I will not be debited and that I should send a cancellation request email to client services, 3 days later, I am debited 3 times!!! Now I get a call from Zayida to advise me that I need to make a reversal with my bank or wait 45 days for a refund! Unacceptable service! I want my money back asap!
