My credit card is due to expire at the end of May. I was impressed when I received an sms on the 17 April asking which branch I'd like to collect my credit card from. I replied saying "Nicol Way, Bryanston". On the 3rd of May I received the same sms, and once again replied "Nicol Way, Bryanston".
Then about a week ago, I received a call from a lady at a courier company phoning on behalf of Standard Bank asking which branch I'd like to collect my card from. She knew nothing about the sms's and said she couldn't deliver to a satellite branch (Nicol Way), but could deliver to Fourways. I was irritated but said ok.
Then on Tues I got a call from Std Bank to say my card is ready for collection at the MIDRAND branch!! This is ridiculous!!
Why is something simple like collecting a new credit card SUCH a mission!
