I had an emergency come up at the worst possible time and took a 'supposedly easy loan" from Wonga. SA. First they debited me before my pay date, then they debited me on the 30.03.2013 which was the correct date for an amount of R3018.14. Following this they still hadn't updated my account to paid and despite numerous emails never bothered calling me back. I had to call them to discover that apparently the loan needed to be paid back on the 25.03.2013 so they charged me a late payment fee of R83.25 so I immediately paid an amount of R85.00 on the 04.04.2013. More than a week later I realised that they still failed to update my emails so I called and emailed them and attached proof of payment for their records. Last week i received a call from Blake and associates regarding this WONGA account. I gave them a detailed explanation and again emailed proof of payment which I sent on to WONGA as well! Yesterday I was declined a loan as WONGA has still failed to update their records! This loan was to pay for part of my studies and deposit on my new home! Thanks to WONGA I cannot pay for my studies and am now HOMELESS!!! This has been my absolute worst experience ever! Never use them!
