I'm not even going to try and contact the call centre; I've come straight here since it seems you get a quicker response on this site... hmmm... I wonder why that is.

I've arranged for a stop order to go off from my account every 5th of the month. Come the 5th, nothing, 6th nothing and then only I receive an sms 2 days later saying the stop order has gone off. Twice I've experienced this with Standard Bank. Last time, I just cancelled the service.

2 days might not seem much but I have debit orders going off on my account, bank charges, etc. So i take the money and put it away in my savings account to keep it safe because I never know when Standard Bank might feel like taking the money. R115.00 later, i still have to log on into my internet banking and make the payment myself in order to avoid penalties from the other side.

Great work Standard Bank. I've been with you for more than 10 years and never complained about a single thing, but this just gets to me so bad.
