I fell on financial hard times and agreed to pay off my discovery card and asked discovery to block the card and i tore it up. I thought that would be the end of my issues with Discovery. Turns out its not... I expect a debit order to go off, and some months it does and some it doesn't, This has made me a "bad payer" according to my recording... HOWEVER, I asked to be debited. Then I got frustrated and asked if i can just do a transfer as Discovery is so erratic I cannot rely on them, they agreed, first month comes round, I make payment and BOOM! debit order runs... So I stop doing a transfer as the agreed amount is already stretching my budget!!! Then they agree to reinstate the debit, but it was never stopped, then the debit order doesn't run and suddenly i'm threatened with being handed over, the following month my account is debited with double!!! Which I cannot afford... Today is the last straw, I was again not debit and receive threatening calls!! I will be approaching the ombudsman as the debits on my account are so erratic it's exhausting!! The way I feel right now, you can blacklist me and will never see another cent!!! I'm so finished with Discovery cards BS!!!
