I have recently had to arrange a covering bond for a business loan on a property that I purchased with an ABSA bond. If it wasn't for Madeleine at the Centurion branch, the whole deal would have gone south on me. I was fortunate enough to meet Madeleine after numerous phone calls to various ABSA branches. Not one of whom actually understood what I needed to do. When I finally got to Madeleine, she not only knew exactly what I needed, she also knew how to go about getting it done. She truly understands the system at ABSA. She knew who to talk to to get things done. She provided me with constant feedback and really went the extra mile to get the matter resolved. She remained patient despite my constant telephone calls. If all bank officials were this friendly, patient and KNOWLEDGABLE, banking would be an absolute pleasure. To Madeleine I would just like to say, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! you are a real asset to your employer.
