I requested a quote from King Price, within minutes after completing the online quotation I received a phone call from Sholto Kanni in the telesales department. I answered all the questions he had, he asked for my banking details. I told him I just need a quote, he does not need my banking details yet, but he said that he will just take them so long for if I do accept the quote. On 11 April I emailed him to tell him I will not be accepting the quote and I will be staying with my current insurance provider (Outsurance) and that they MUST NOT debit my account on 1 May 2013 as I was worried they would as they already have my banking details.
On 5 May I noticed the amount of R 766.21 was debited from my account. My problem was that they jump to assist me with the quote but they ignored my email when I confirmed I WILL NOT be accepting the quote.
I am now struggling to get my money back and have to make time to go into the bank to block the debit orders going off in the future. Kings Hire is now just causing me inconvenience to say the least
