I filled in the information for a quote on the King Price website and within a couple of seconds they phoned me to offer an official quote (Happened on the 20/02/2013). The Person i spoke to was Adrian Dan. During the telephonic quote he asked for my bank details and i told him i do not want to give it as this is just for a quote and i have had money taken from me before by insurance companies. He told me it is purely just for administrative details as it will make it easier when i accept the offer, which i never had! On 03/04/2013 a debit order was deducted of my account from king price.
This is straight and i will take it up the ombudsman and even go to the police and open a charge against King Price.
Please do not give your banking details to King Price staff if you just want a quote from them!
