This is a copy of what I just emailed Nedbank.
I am extremely upset!!! About 2 months ago I got a call from Nedbank offering me a Greenbacks card which the woman told me was a card that would be linked to my current account and when I swiped it would earn points similar to ebucks and that it wouldn't cost me anything, I have received a few sms's in the past few weeks reminding me to collect the card but I just haven't had the time. Today I received in the post a credit card statement and on it it states that I owe R112.42 I am actually furious because I don't want a credit card and never would've agreed to take out this offer if I'd known that it was one, who can your call centre agents deceive the clients like this?? I don't have the money to pay this account and I don't want it. I want this canceled immediately and the balance reversed! I will also make a plan to cancel my existing Current and Savings account that I have with you guys in the near future. I do not appreciate being taken for a fool this way!
