On saturday 260.04.2013 I broke down next to Diepsloot informal settlement. I contacted my insurance company ABSA. I was told that they would desptach a vehicle to tow the car. I was then contacted by the towing company who said that they are on their way. A half an hour later nobody pitched so I phoned the call centre. The towing company phoned me and said that unfortunately there is a co-payment and this could be a problem as I was only covered for 50km. I said i dont care as I was with my family in the vehicle and needed to get it back home. I was then contact by the call centre and told the same thing. I got very angry and demanded that they tow the truck regardless of the cost. After 2 hours they arrived with a flatbed and no space for my family. I had explained to the call centre that my family was in the car. Here I was with my family stranded next to the road with now way of getting home. I had to phone a friend to help us get home! This was not acceptable service at all. I phoned ABSA and was told that they would look into it. Europcar was the call centre and they apologised for the mistake but I have heard NOTHING FROM ABSA who I pay everymonth! DISGUSTING
