Why can't we get good service in SA. Some how the consumer always gets. I purchased pre-paid electricity on FNB's cell phone banking, a service which supposed to make the customers life simpler. Well i never receive my token, so i called in. Said they have all the details & will sms it to me. No reply so i call back, they say they never receive the token from the electricity department & they can't do anything. And I need to phone to get it from them. We all know what our electricity department is like, I phoned but every department i get put to can't help & will give me another department number to phone. It's so F... up. As a consumer there is nothing we can do, our hard earned money is gone & we can't live without electricity so therefore have to fork out money to purchase electricity again. We can phone and phone and swear but it all falls on deaf ears. With all FNB's advertising, they just pretending to be different. How about a bank that will actually put the customer first & offer a complete service. In this instance pull my money back, put it back in my account and tell the electricity department you. Complete your obligation before you take my consumers' money!
