Today I receive a debit notification that my car payment was debited by an extra R460 odd. So I go to Absa and they call car loan people and then I'm informed that the extra money was for insurance. Excuse me?
I NEVER authorized or gave permission or even received a phone call regarding any insurance for my car. How dare you just give me insurance and debit my account without any permission??
A) I already have insurance
B) It's on record that I have insurance, specially seeing as how I had to in order to get the loan.
C) been paying you for 3 years
I want that money back. Immediately.
That extra money has made my bank balance go into a negative balance which now means I've been charged even more money!!! Who's going to cover that?
And is what you did even legal?? According to the bank and AIS accounts department, IT'S NOT!
Cancel it and refund me!
I also want to know what disciplinary action will be taken against the person that did this?
