R10 000 was from my account over period of 10 days (I was overseas). Debit card was cloned here in SA. Spent 3 days at Absa, opened case at police. After two weeks I got message from branch manager that I must come in AGAIN and give another declaration (that I already did at police). I told them to get it from the police. This women just decided that that's too bad and closed the case!

Absa can't afford any more negative publicity! Surely their forensic dept works with the police!?!

Not once in this month did someone even contact me from forensics. I've spent so much money on calls to their call centre, not to even say how much time! And I have done nothing wrong here! It's Absa's security that is so poor. Why must I suffer like this?!

I am fed up with Absa and after this is dealt with, I will definitely move to another bank.
