ABSA is the worse bank that you can ever bank with. On the 26/02/2013 i received a notify me sms to say that R1600 is being transferred from my account to another account that I don't know. I reported this immediately, they send me forms to complete and I was advise to go to police station to do open a case. I left work and rushed to police station immediately. The case was opened and forms was completed emailed to them. Today they tell me that they wont be able to reverse that transaction or help me and they can't even investigate further, in order words I must just see to myself. They wont do anything about it. Meaning this is normal to them, How do I continue to trust them with my investments, let alone my salary if they are failing me with these issue. I'm talking money here. I'm very angry and I feel so helpless as it was my son school fees money for the month. My advise to all brothers and sisters out there who are banking with ABSA is to move to other banks. I'm seriously starting to doubt their IT security and one will be amazed at how they preach about the safety self service banking and encou
