2 Years ago I visited Mellins Fourways and was quoted an exorbitant amount for replacement lenses of which I requested a discount on before proceeding with the Quote. They gave me a R400 discount on a R12, 000 invoice. I went ahead anyway and paid the invoice when I collected the glasses. After receiving the lenses they were the incorrect script. I was desperate to get glasses so accepted that they would redo with a cheaper lens, and accepted that I would not be refunded for the incorrect lenses.
My complaint is I have Barrett & Assoc. calling me daily for the R400 discount I received, and I went into Mellins to complain and they said I should just ignore them. I still get phone calls and emails harassing me. I am a family of 5 who already or will need glasses in the future and have moved my business from Mellins due to this harassment.
