I would like to start off with saying that i had gone to Mellins I style for an appoinment where the optometrist was absolutely great and the lady who assisted me with finding the frame that i liked was also very friendly... However i went to go and fetch my glasses on the Wednesday- i could not see any fault with it and went home where i studied only to realize that the one side of the frame (the arm) was loose, later that evening it was completely flimsy... I took it back the following morning (less than a day) where i honestly felt like a criminal, iam the client i paid for the glasses and then i had all sorts of comments like they dont know how that is possible, its not normal and am i sure i didnt sit on it??? the one arm is loose- the glasses arent broken (which would be the case if you had to sit on it). I was then told that it needs to go to the manufacturer and they will investigate and claim a warranty, only to be told it may take 2 -3 weeks!!! I CALLED THEM YESTERDAY and after a return phone call i was informed i have to wait 2-3 weeks because it was ordered from Italy. I honestly think this is unacceptable, they were quick to receive my money and now i have to wait.
