It was Thursday at approximately 13h00 when my husband and I visited the store to return the pair of scissors that we bought for our daughter, since the school told us that they don’t need it. My husband went straight to the lady and told her that we wanted to return the pair of scissors since it was not needed and unfortunately we’ve lost the receipt, but we were having a bank statement. The lady said that the return policy was 7 days and unfortunately she won't be able to assist us since it was the 9th day.
While we were still standing we saw a note that was posted on the wall and it was 10 days not 7, that’s where we were surprised. Then we asked her why would she lie to us, instead of her apologising to us she became rude like “yaa it is the same you guys must go and look for the receipt” then I decided to ask to see a manager and I was told that she was the manager, and unfortunately the owner was out.
This was not the first incident that we encountered with her, the first one was when we went to buy stationery and she was asked to assist us, where she gave us attitude, her tone was on another level like she was talking to her kids to a point where i left and let her to assist my husband only.
We are paying customers and we must be treated with respect, unless the store is for specific people, which we did not see on the door.
