I purchased a deal on the 11 Feb 2013 and used my credit card to make payment. GROUPON debited my card and sent an e-mail confirming the order but I received no further details of the transaction or any voucher for the deal I requested. I sent them a refund request and whoever responded to my mail 2 days later cannot read as I sent them the original mail their website sent me stating that my order had been confirmed and I have not heard from them since, R325 later.
I have also logged a dispute with my bank for the transaction to be reversed as this is non service delivery, actually!!.. How can such a company be trusted? I now have to wait up to a month for my bank to reclaim the funds.. NOT FUNNY AT ALL! GROUPON should be shut down permanently!
