So brought a Groupon special for 2 to go on the balloon, cost was R200, original price was R400 (this was listed on the Groupon website special) which seems like a deal. Turn out per person to go on the balloon was R70!
The original said R200 include free gift basket, but it doesn't, just comes with 2 glass of drinks and chocolate bar, so quick math that will cost extra R60... Total ripped off...
Worst part is, I live in Fourways, I called 8 weekends straight from September, and all 8 weekends the balloon doesn't go up. And I know for a fact there were no winds what so ever during those hot weekends, they are just too lazy to operate during the weekend. And once I called they say they are operating, so got there in 10 mins and the workers said no they are not. So spend another R10 on parking for no reason.
There's a reason why Groupon extended 2 extra weeks, but the balloon still didn't go up, always making wind excuse and I know for a fact there were barely any winds! So what's the point?
I will never ever prepaid anything anymore, because once they get your money, they won't bother to give you the service. No difference than a criminal scamming your money.
