A promotional item was purchased from a Groupon promotion. Funds were transferred into the banking account as instructed on the Groupon Web Site (24/10/2013). Confirmation of said transfer forwarded to Groupon.
Delivery of the purchase was not made within the stipulated time frame (before 7/11/2013). E-mails were sent querying progress. NO RESPONSE. Additional e-mails sent LATE Response (19/11/2013). Additional E-mails sent NO response. Eventually was able to contact someone on the end of their customer centre phone line. "They would handle it"
E-mail Received from Groupon requesting our banking details (28/11/2013) without indicating why.
As yet no refund has been received.
Requests wanting to know why there was a problem have been futile. During the course of this saga 3 different people have at some stage sent us a mail. The query was passed onto "MANAGEMENT" on 30/11/2013. What have they done with it? WHO KNOWS because we don't.
