I had made an order for CD manufacturing from this supplier during the first trimester of the year. As a matter of fact, contacts started as early as January 2013.
We agreed the supplier would deliver 10.000 CD's at an agreed price (all these correspondences can be provided, if necessary) via airfreight from Johannesburg to Luanda. The agreed price included manufacturing and AIRFREIGHT to Luanda. After all preliminary procedures were performed, I made a 50% payment as a deposit for the supplier to start production. After I made the payment the supplier informed me that they are no longer able to airfreight BECAUSE THEIR AGENT REFUSED TO/THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN PRICE. After several discussions, I did not end the contract because they informed me they were able to deliver via SEA FREIGHT within a reasonable time. After the final payment has been made on the order, the supplier advised that the order would be shipped within the following days, Over 2 months have gone since payment was media and supplier did not deliver as agreed. I am not sure they will deliver at all! I am afraid I have lost over USD 8.000 and above all I can not meet my plans.
