I REQUESTED A REFUND OF R7830 FROM GROUPON ON THE17JULY2013 AS THE DEAL FOR ALPINE HEATH RESORT SOLD TO ME WAS APPARENTLY NOT AVAILABLE ON THE DATE I REQUESTED, ALTHOUGH IT WAS IN THE TIME FRAME STATED ON GROUPONS WEBSITE.
I SPOKE TO A Cheryl Siphesihle Nhlumayo WHO HAD ADVISED ME THAT THE REFUND WOULD BE PROCESSED.
ONE WEEK LATER I CALLED GROUPON TO FIND OUT WHATS GOING ON ABOUT MY REFUND, WHERE AGAIN I WAS ADVISED THAT IT WAS BUSY BEING PROCESSED.
I CALLED AGAIN TODAY 01AUGUST2013, SPOKE TO A JANE MARIE, ONLY TO HEAR THAT MY REFUND OF R7830 WAS STILL BEING PROCESSED.
I DEMANDED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE WHO COULD ASSIST ME WITH A DATE THAT MY REFUND WOULD BE FINALLY PROCESSED AS THIS WAS PAID VIA CREDIT CARD AND I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT WANT TO PAY INTEREST ON THIS AMOUNT.
I WAS THEN PUT ON HOLD AND APPARENTLY AFTER A MANAGER WAS CONSULTED, JANE MARIE PROMISED ME THAT IT WOULD BE FINALISED TODAY.
WHY IS GROUPON HOLDING ON TO MY HARD EARNED R7830 FOR SO LONG.DONT THEY REALISE THAT THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE CAUSES MAJOR INCONVENIENCE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.
BTW IT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT THE DEAL THEY HAD ADVERTISED FOR WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE RESORT.GROUPON, SORT OUT YOUR PATHETIC SERVICE
