MTN advertised a Packard Bell i5 laptop for R199.00 p/m. I had queried this since day one and no stocks had been received from either Tygervalley, N1 or 808. N1 said I should sign and that I would be guaranteed one when stocks arrived. This did not happen so I complained. The manager was notified and shetok it up and said they would get me one. In March 2013 I was contacted and told that they had received one for me. i collected it and installed the windows only to find out that they had supplied the cheapest celeron. I took it back to N1 banch and they said that they could not accept it back (this was misrepresentation of the highest level - ) MTN said that they were not going to get that laptop. I requested that they supply a similarly specced i5 for the same price but they have not yet replied. The contract was signed in February and it is now April. I would like MTN to supply the i5 Specced laptop as advertised and contact me re this complaint soonest or I will be forced to go to the Consumer Council and lodge a formal complaint.
