Cellucity Blames Vodacom

My wife bought a new phone at Cellucity on 18 January. We tried to return the phone 30min after buying it, but couldn't due to some policy from Vodacom (according to Cellucity). On 23 January my wife returned the phone to Cellucity as there was a software issue (within the 7 day out of box clause) and was expecting to be given a new phone. Long story short, it's again a Vodacom policy that returned phones get sent to JHB somewhere to be checked before they give you a new phone... and this takes 5 days. So, bought a phone, 5 days later return it, and you have to wait 5 days to get an ANSWER from Vodacom. Today 30 January is 7 days after returning the phone and on having to follow up with Cellucity (not getting feedback at all!!!) we hear Vodacom has not responded to them and they HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG ITS GOING TO TAKE. Great... no phone indefinitely because Vodacom processes are what they are. Paying customer means nothing... nothing can be done... the Vodacom machine will take it's time and there's nothing ANYONE can apparently do. Nice... Cellucity feels nothing for customers (don't even respond to complaints) and Vodacom is even worse.
