I recently upgraded my mobile contract with Vodacom which included an Apple 5s device as part of the of the package. I had to return the device to Cellucity after 8 days as the battery could not be charged. They advised that the 7 day replacement warranty had expired and that they would send the device to Vodacom for repair. It is now 3 weeks since this event took place and I have not received an answer from either company when the device would be returned to me (in spite of numerous emails and phone calls on my part). I have been with Vodacom for the last 15 years and I am shocked at their current level of service. It is also seems impossible to elevate this matter to anyone at senior level in the Vodacom organisation.
