I upgraded my contract around the 17 August at Cresta branch. I took the promotion which was a Samsung Galaxy S4 and 1gig data bundle. I have noticed that I have incurred over R1600 worth of data since the contract started. I called customer care and spoke to the agent Portia, who advised that this is due to the fact that i upgraded two months earlier. I was not told this the day I renewed my contract. Potia's supervisor Tshepiso promised my someone would get back to me by 26 August. My debit order is going off today and I have not received any feedback. Cell C needs to reverse the R1600 data bill I have incurred since my new contract was taken. However, I will gladly pay the bill if cell c can prove I was aware that I wont have data for the first two months of the contract, either in writing in telephonic recording. I removed my data bundles from my old contract as I was assured I now have 1 gig of data a month. Cell C needs to contact me immediatley and reverse these charges, or I will cancel my contract and file a complaint as per the CPA. Shocking service!!!
