On 6/8/13, I upgraded to Samsung S4 on straight up 100 with 1GB data at R389 pm. I was told that it will only kick in on 27/8/13 and will be charged on a pro-rated basis before that. Just found out that I owe R926 from 6 Aug to 28 Sept 2013 and my debit order payment of R200 on 28/8/13 was not deducted, not sure why. I was confused about the high bill. For the last two months I've not been enjoying the full benefits of this contract (in fact it felt like a downgrade) because I've been too afraid to get a huge bill. Most of the time I'm out of data so all I can do is either make calls or sms. After enquiring, I just found out that Cell C has only been giving me 100MB data instead of 1GB and been charging me for everything over and above 100 MB. It has also zapped all my previous airtime. Firstly, I would like Cell C to reverse all data charges, re-imburse my airtime and I also don't think it's fair for them to charge me R389 pm for the last two months whereas I've not received the full package of the contract as agreed upon. I have an existing query with Cell C (3092700310) but not received any feedback. In fact I've just been loaded with 100MB for this month as well.
