I have a small child that I need to take shopping with me. In November I complained that there were no trolleys with baby chairs available and they then found me one but upon trying to strap my baby in it appeared that the straps were faulty and did not work. I brought it to the attention of the non perishables manager who said he had only worked there for a week and would sort it out. 3 weeks later I returned to find that ALL the baby chair trolleys straps were broken. I called for the branch manager who was in a "meeting" so took forever to get to me. He said he had asked the staff to remove the trolleys. Yesterday I went shopping and it now seems that these trolleys are no longer offered at Checkers Hyper in Roodepoort. We are expected to put our small children in the seating part of the trolley when they are too small and can fall out. Is customer safety not of any concern to you? Is it now your policy not to offer these trolleys? In which case I would rather shop elsewhere where my child's safety is taken into consideration.
