Servicing Nightmare

We took the top of our Hydrovac in for service/repairs on 13/01/2014 as it had a burning smell. We were told that we were lucky because they machine would be picked up that afternoon and also that the new motors were arriving the next day we should have a response as to the repair cost by the end of that week. When we contacted them on the Monday they said that the machine had only been picked up on the Friday but that we would hear from them before the end of the week. Needless to say we had to phone again today only to find out that they had not even started looking at the machine because they were awaiting parts. How do you know that parts are needed if you have not bothered to even look at the machine as yet? The Verimark invoice number for the repairs is 17655 in the name of SB Du Toit. I want an answer as to what the is actually happening and who is holding up the process - we are sick and tired of having to sweep the mats in the house.
