Upon every purchase that I have made at Edgars, my account was blocked. On Saturday 2/11/2013, I paid my account at the Greenstone branch, which I had no problem in doing. I thereafter wanted to purchase on my account only to have the account blocked once again. Upon telephonic conversation with a consultant, I was then asked to submit my last payslip, 3 month bank statement and letter of employment. As inconvenient and frustrating as that was, I did so. I still have not received a notification from Edgars with regards to this matter, and I was assured that it would be resolved upon receipt of the documentation. I am considering closing my account as I do not see the benefit in having one if I am unable to use it at my leisure. In addition to this, my account is well maintained and it is disappointing to know that Edgars group does not recognise a loyal customer.
