I requested a make-up quote from Karin Roode Professional Make Up in Nov '12. At the time, I was not ready to accept her quotation. During this time I received numerous sms' and calls, asking me when I was going to make the payment. The T & C's of the quote state that, NO trial will be done until FULL payment is received. In Jan, I accepted her quote, scheduled a trial date and made full payment. The trial was cancelled and rescheduled. Yet again our trial cancelled (this time it was car trouble - a pulley breaking on the highway).
My trial took place 2 weeks ago, I was not happy with the make-up applied and asked for a second trial. During this, I also scheduled an appointment for eyelash extensions. Upon confirmation, this was cancelled too due to another "bride's trial". I requested another date.
She EMAILED me on Monday, stating that she doesn't want to work with me because the style I wanted is something she is unable to apply! A true make up artist can apply any style... She said I would be refunded, which was a painful episode too, days of excuses. I got partially refunded today...
SA personality, Elizma Theron's name is used as a marketing ploy as Karin did her make up.
