We are a corporate client of builders warehouse, all we tried to do today is find out if they stock nylon fishtape. We started off by calling Norwood, got through to a guy in the electrical department after going through a few people, he then after like 20 minutes of explaining to him that he needs to go and check if they have it, because he didnt want to leave his seat and actually go and look if they have stock, came back and said they didnt have it and said that the fourways branch had it. so we phoned them (fourways) and they said that he (guy from Norwood) had called them to ask if they had stock and they told him that they DIDNT have stock. We then phoned the Boksburg branch as we had seen this fishtape there before to see if they had stock. after being passed around to about 5 different people who were simply trying to make this someone elses problem, we were eventually holding for a lady to check if they had stock for about 20 minutes which was the last straw, apparently it was the lady in charge of the power tools dept.
This is absolutely ridiculous, it is such a shock to see how such incompetent people can be hired and get paid to do this kind of a job.
