I recently got a policy with Iwyze. The agent that was assisting me in completing my application over the phone only informed me about an excess of R2750 and said there might be "additional excess*
Little did I know that the additional excess will bring my excess to over R5000. Apparently theres an additional excess of R5000 for people like me i.e. license new than 2 year and claim made within 6 months from inception of the policy. I feel that I was misled into taking insurance with iWyze and not all the fact were disclosed to me in order to allow me to make an informed decision.
I was referred to Iwyze by friends but now I have no choice but to look for a cheaper insurance quote.
