I applied for a personal loan at Nedbank since I am banking with them for 4 years. I have a cheque account and credit card with Nedbank and my salary goes into my bank every month. Griffin who dealt with new that where I work there is no land line because they the landline 3 times. I work for a tomatoe farmer and they only make use of cellphones which is registered in the company name. I did provide Nedbank with a copy of the latest statement from Vodacom showing that the cell number I gave is registered in the companies name. My credit score everything else where fine but because there is no landline where I work my application has been denied. Although they can see clearly on the bankstatements that the salary goes through everymonth the just declined the loan because of a landline? I am very frustrated with Nedbank I've been at Nedbank 5 times already with more paperwork but they just refuse I don't think it is fair towards anybody that work for a company or like me a farmer that does not have a landline it is ridiculous surely they can see the salary comes from my employee??? I am really very dissapointed in Nedbank group.
