I called the Nedbank call center yesterday to apply for a loan, i explained that i started at a new company from 1 august and that I am on a contract basis. He told me the loan was approved and that I should take my supporting documents to the branch. I asked if it is fine if i take my employment contract as I have not received my 1st payslip reflecting my new salary etc, he said it is fine. When I got to the branch they said that my loan will not be able to be processed because my new salary does not show on my bank statement yet. I have been trying out Nedbank with the intention of possibly moving over but I will be closing my Credit card that I just got from Nedbank.
