SID EFT fail & internet banking EFT not allocated

So the special of Kulula started at 6AM today (17/4/2013).
I go into the site, make a booking at the special price (JNQZTI).
The immediate EFT through SID didn't want to work, froze.
I make a direct EFT via ABSA internet banking within the hour of the booking.
Called the call centre of Kulula - sorry, the booking was cancelled.
Can reinstate it, if I send them proof of payment (and if I pay in extra - i.e. normal price).
They call back - sorry, due to the special they will not reinstate my booking even if I'm willing to make additional payment. I should request a refund - and this is the best part - the refund will take 6 to 8 WEEKS!!
But I'm welcome to make a new booking & pay for it while I wait the 6/8 weeks...
I can't help but worry now that my other booking (I selected a bank deposit as payment) will also be cancelled eventhough I made payment just after making it - AHVTCX - as I have not received my confirmation yet.
