The Holiday Club
Unethical forceful resignation

I moved from the Eastern Cape to Cape Town based on a set salary of which I had signed the contract. On pay day I received half my salary from the stated amount on my contract. This is 25% below my expenditure including rent. When I questioned it, I received some payment for rent & fuel.

I was then steamrolled after I mentioned I was going to the CCMA. Loiuse's words were "this will get very ugly"'.
Shortly after a new contract was drawn up as an addendum to the original and they further intimidated me and forced me into signing it which has impossible targets to meet.

The basic salary (which is half the salary of the original contract) is based on reaching the set target and it is completely unachievable and my fellow colleagues have agreed that it is unattainable. This clearly reflects their intention of indirectly forcing me to resign.

Further unethical practices are manifested in the way that they treat their other staff in the holiday club through deferred payments of commission due to the owners spending the income before it has been generated to keep up their high lifestyle (this is well known among staff members).
