Good Day, I have recently used the Safainow website to book for accommodation over the Easter weekend In Durban, as I needed to attend a Family Wedding. I had paid in full for the accommodation that I required. I then received a phone call from Danielle for Safarinow advising me that they double booked the apartment and that they will get back to me on with alternative accommodation. I waited 2 days and got no feedback what so ever from anyone, I had to call them myself to check if they have had anything for me, which they did not. I was given a quote for a new apartment which was R3100.00 more then what we have paid, which was out of our budget. I was told that they will not pay in the additional amount for us and that we would have to pay in the full amount of this NEW Accommodation, and yet the fault was on their side. The way in which we were inconvenienced was extremely unacceptable, the staff members had no sense of urgency and could not assist me in anyway, even after the many many phone calls I had made to them I was brushed off. My Husband and I were left to then find our own accommodation at the last minute due to no feedback and no importance to our request.
