In January this year I booked a three day, self-drive special to the Cardoso Hotel in Maputo and paid a 50% deposit in February and the full amount later in March. I have for the past three weeks failed in all attempts to get Ms Oliveira of MOZAMBIQUE TOURISM (based in Northcliff, Johannesburg) to respond to either my numerous telephone calls, or my e-mails to issue me with the voucher. Our holiday is next week. She is the sole person in this Agency.
I subsequently have been in touch with the Cardoso Hotel, but to date am still in limbo.
I spoke this morning with a representative of the Cardoso in Johannesburg who recommended I use this blog to voice my grievance.
Beware of this Travel Agent.
