Mozambique Holidays By Richard Grose

Our family had a great Mozambiquen Holiday in 2012, and wanted to repeat this in 2013. We however decided to explore a different part of Mozambique this time and made a booking through Mozambique Holiday - Mr. Richard Grose.

We booked at Baleia Azul in Ponta Molongane for 21 - 25 September 2013, the booking was made 28 November 2012. We had to pay a deposit of R9 000.00, and this was done by 4 December 2012.
(The money was deposited into Bold Moves 638 (PTY) Ltd T/A Mozambique Holiday)

In January we contacted him to confirm that all is still in order, and by when we need to pay the outstanding money for the rest of our stay in September 2013. Hi did not answer his cell, phone was dead and e-mails also went unanswered. On inspection, his website has been suspended! [URL Removed]
We phoned a few people in and around the area in Mozambique where he operates, and we were informed that he has been having money problems - that his telehone line was cut, his website suspended etc.

What to do now? A case at the police for?
Are we going to be able to get our money back?

This has left a bad taste in our mouths, and done Mozambique tourism NO GOOD!
