I'm schedules to fly BA6425 from ORT to Cape Town today. The flight is supposed to leave at 3pm. As I'm checking in at the counter I am informed that my flight has been delayed to 5:30pm. They claim I should have been informed by sms and email (I received neither, hence my arriving at 2pm!!).
I fly between Johannesburg and Cape Town frequently (at least once a month) and now I am placing BA at the bottom of my list of preferred airlines as this is the second incident I've had with them this year - the first being an overbooking of flights at the end of mining indaba week in February this year.
How is it possible that COMAIR gets Kulula so right but is completely useless with BA? Also why must I be inconvenienced by an incompetent airline?
