To whom it may concern,
My husband who is a GOLD Voyager member with SAA and who travels 3 times a week thru OR Thambo airport has once again had possessions out of his luggage. On Friday night the 22nd March my husband arrived at OR Thambo from Port Elizabeth to find his wallet had been. I do agree that the wallet should never have been left in his luggage but been a jockey and having to rush to the airport after the last race as races was delayed he forgot to take his wallet out of his suit case when he booked his luggage on, he did put cable ties on his bag but when he received his luggage the cable ties had been cut off and his wallet gone. This is not the 1st time this has happened and its getting out of control. Its a bad reflection on Airports company security specially people travelling from out of South AFrica are so scared their luggage gets broken into. This is an ongoing problem and needs URGENT attention. What right do these people who are in control of our luggage have to go into other peoples possision and, its disgusting and unaceptable!! Security needs to be jacked up Sooner than Later!! Otherwise people will stop coming to our country
