I bought a Toyota Yaris T1 in December 2007 and paid for a service plan. The payment is included in the monthly installments for up to 60 000kms. However, I needed to pay when I took my car for service for the first time in December 2009 in spite of having explained that I had a service plan. I ended up having paid cash for up to three services. Then I recently found the documents that prove that I had a service plan all along and I immediately contacted the dealership which verified the validity of the service plan and informed me that it reflects on the system. When I asked them why the service centre personnel did not pick it up before, they said they were not electronically linked. I therefore requested my refund. I had only one invoice for 2011 and a lady by the name of Lida from Toyota Parktown was able to retrieve the 2009 and 2011 invoice. The 2010 invoice revealed a service for another individual despite me given the same reference.
