On the 27 February 2013 it was my first and the last time flying on Virgin Atlantic. I am a frequent global flyer, and decided to try your airline, because of the charismatic, inspirational leader behind the brand Sir Richard Branson. My flight was leaving at 21h25 and I checked in around 7pm, I had one big bag to check-in, one pulling bag as carry-on and a bagpack which had my laptop and handbag. The lady at the check-in desk weighed my big bag which was over by about 5kg, I then removed my shoes from the bag until it was 23kg. I was not too worried because my family was there to send me off, and besides my brother was going to follow me to the US in a couple of days. The same lady then looked at my pulling carry-on bag and then she came out of the booth to weigh it, but then upon her carrying it she said, there is no need to weigh as the bag was not heavy. I then gave my excess baggage to my family and went through the check-in gate. When the time came to board the flight, I was the last person on the long queue to board and was just observing when people were handing over their passports and go through the boarding gates.
